Ice Cream Bananaz, the focus of our 2024 Pheno Hunt, shares its roots with Strawberry Cherry Pie and Sugarloaf Pineapple, as all three strains originate from 808 Genetics’ 2021 Strawberry Runtz menu. Despite having a parent in common, Sugarloaf Pineapple, Strawberry Cherry Pie, and Ice Cream Bananaz all yield wildly different results through the diversity of their maternal genetics. In the case of Ice Cream Bananaz, the mother strain, Ice Cream Nana, was introduced to enhance and amplify the foundation of Strawberry Runtz. Phenotype #13 of Ice Cream Bananaz serves up the indulgent sweetness of a banana split, blending smooth, buttery vanilla with vibrant notes of banana.
