30 Day New NJMCP Patient Purchase Period
We have great news for new patients! Purchasing with your new NJMCP prescription is much more expedited now that the state has granted patients the option to purchase before their card comes in the mail. This is very beneficial for patients who need quicker access to their medication, or obtain their prescription at an event and would like to purchase the same day.
Let’s get familiar with this new option from the Cannabis Regulatory Commision (CRC) called a “30-day purchase.” Once you visit a physician and receive your prescription, you are able to make a one time purchase of up to half of your allotment within 30 days - even before your card comes in the mail. It’s important to remember that this purchase must be made BEFORE you pay for your card through the state. Once you pay for your card, there is a card number that is created and assigned to you and you must wait for the card to come in the mail in order to make any purchases.
