Crystal Rose Seed Co. is a family affair out of Maine started by the DoSiDos-loving “Dosi Drew'' and his partner Amanda. Focused on breeding cultivars with high resin content and unique terpene profiles, Crystal Rose has made a name for itself in Maine and beyond.
After sparking a friendship with fellow Maine transplant and grower MegaRaw Melts, the two decided to embark on a breeding collaboration. Crystal Rose is fortunate enough to be the only breeder to this day given the opportunity to use Mega’s fabled Pie Dough female. They pollinated Pie Dough with their own powerhouse male, OGKB/TK. Bud structure in the offspring is dense, with plants tending to have a cookie/chem-type structure. The resin is extremely greasy and almost wet. Aromas and flavors range from sweet dough and gas to cherry pie and hash.
Our phenotype (as is often the case with other Pie Eyed phenos) has a balanced mix of effects, giving the user vivid cerebral clarity as well as an overall sense of relaxation. The user can expect an initial feeling of alertness and sociability, followed by a calm that soothes the stresses of a long day. Some may notice more sedative effects with a release of pressure behind the eyes and a heavying of the eyelids.
