Created in California by award-winning hash maker, The Real Cannabis Chris, the “thumbprint” is an innovative twist on the presentation and consumption of solventless hash rosin. While this unique package typically presents a Live Hash Rosin Jam center bordered by a ring of cold cure Live Hash Rosin, Sour Rainbow Skunk is a little different in this regard, having a cold cure center and outer ring.

Thumbprints demand a good deal of craftsmanship. Not only does it take time and experimentation to identify the most effective and complementary hash pairings, but each package must be carefully formed by hand, thus limiting batch sizes. At Breakwater, crafting quality cannabis products is a labor of love, and there’s simply no substitute for passion and patience when it comes to a project like this!

SOUR RAINBOW SKUNK

Prior to our hash-specific pheno hunts, when we were still in the early stages of development for our solventless hash products, we thought it would be fruitful, or at least fun, to test wash our existing strains. While the results were mostly underwhelming, a few candidates caught our attention, including Rainbow Driver. With its oil-slick wet resin, we suspected that Rainbow Driver’s yields would prove impractical for long-term hash production, and, unfortunately, we were right. However, the starburst of aromas coming off this ultra-greasy hash were unparalleled – vibrant orange, lemon, and lime candy melted into subtle notes of berry and grape.

While unlikely to make a return, we can’t resist sharing this exceptional extract with our hash-loving patients. With a little patience and ingenuity, we’ve crafted our next Live Hash Rosin Thumbprint – Sour Rainbow Skunk! Uniquely, this Thumbprint consists of a cold cure (rather than jam) center and a cold cure outer ring. The endless fruit flavors of Rainbow Driver are encircled by the acrid pungence of Sour Super Skunk, and though each strain shines on its own, these two ends of the terpene spectrum meet for a mouth-watering, mind-melding experience. Together they create a sweet and gassy fusion akin to today's iconic 'Z' crosses like OZKush, Rainbow Belts, and Moonbow.
