Breakwater is hosting its 5th annual food drive!

We’re partnering with Community FoodBank of New Jersey, the state's largest anti-hunger organization, from December 2nd - January 5th.

Bring in any of the items specified below to earn loyalty points! Each patient who donates will earn loyalty points as follows:

• 10 loyalty points per item donated

• 20 loyalty points per item donated from the "Most Needed" list below

Patients may donate daily and can earn a maximum of 200 points per day, with a limit of 1,000 points earned for the duration of the food drive.

Most Needed (20 points):

Personal hygiene products such as

• Diapers

• Deodorant

• Toothbrushes

• Toothpaste

• Feminine hygiene products

What to Donate (10 points):

• Canned fish and meats (no glass)

• Canned shelf stable milk (no glass)

• Canned soups, chili, and other canned meals (no glass)

• Canned fruits and vegetables (no glass)

• Peanut butter (no glass)

What not to donate (0 pOINTS):

• Items that are opened, expired, or about to expire

• Items packaged in glass or cellophane

• Pasta products not in a can

• Bottled water

• Soda

• Baby food

Please Note: We cannot accept any food items packaged in glass, cellophane, or cardboard containers. Please do not donate, bottled water, soda, baby food or items that are opened, expired or about to expire. Limit of 200 points earned per visit, per day. Limit of 1,000 points earned, per patient, during the duration of the food drive. Breakwater reserves the right to refuse any item at its discretion.
